Christine Manolakos offers a fresh, feminine perspective on the practice of law in Australia. Of Greek background, Christine has excelled herself in legal practice to single-handedly build a thriving suburban firm with a diverse client base. In this time, Christine has built strong links with the Marrickville community through her participation in worthwhile organisations such as Rotary International. Christine obtained her qualifications of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics at Macquarie University, Sydney. She has been licensed since 1993, opened her own firm in 1996, and has appeared on behalf of hundreds of clients.

Henry Phan applies skill and determination to his work that brings not only credit upon himself but also the firm. Technologically aware, Henry has worked tirelessly to achieve the community’s best interests. Henry has many university qualifications including an MBA from the University of Western Sydney, a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting from the University of NSW. Henry also brings with him vast experience from his tenure at Doyle’s Construction, a major company in Sydney.

Alex Sapounas is the marketing and business specialist on the team. As a CPA, Justice of the Peace and the Commercial Manager, he brings a management focus to the legal services offered by CM Lawyers. Alex has a Masters degree in Finance and Accounting from UTS and substantial experience in major financial institutions including Perpetual, Coopers & Lybrand (which has since merged successfully to form Price Waterhouse Coopers), and Hambros Investment Bank. Alex therefore has impressive insight and knowledge into the operations of a business and can tailor client-specific strategies to achieve the most profitable outcomes.

Sam Manikis (Senior-Paralegal)applies seven years of conveyancing experience to help buyers and sellers negotiate the intricacies of the statutory framework governing the purchase and sale of real estate and businesses. Sam has, through his practical experience in the field, produced effective strategies to troubleshoot problems that can arise from property transactions. Sam has also developed a vast network of contacts that can assist the conveyancing process.
